The clever people at Jackpotjoy have done it again and starting today you will see the name splashed around all over the place during Deal or No Deal with Noel Edmonds.
When Jackpotjoy told us a while ago that this was a done deal we knew that just a plain and simple programme sponsorship deal was never going to be on the cards. Sure enough they have outfoxed the competition again and are using the bumpers to give people the chance to win £250,000 six days a week and completely free.
It’s very clever too. If you want the chance to win the Jackpotjoy Ad Break Bingo you have to visit online bingo site Jackpotjoy every day before 2pm to get your numbers for that nights Deal or No Deal show. A number will be revealed during each of the six bumpers and if you match all six you will win the £250,000.
If you miss the show or simply don’t like it, you can still take part by visiting Jackpotjoy again before midnight the same day to check the numbers that were revealed on the programme and to make a claim if you have matched them all.
There are so many versions of Barbara Windsor as the Queen of Bingo now she must be getting quite dizzy. We have the live version, we have a cartoon version on Bingo Royale and now another cartoon version on these bumpers. This is one campaign that will not be going away in a hurry so we better get used to it.
I like the idea and can’t wait to see the bumpers, but wonder how many more people can Jackpotjoy persuade to join them before they are so overexposed that people are walking away instead. Maybe at that point looking after existing players may become a higher priority.
