I’ve been having a great time playing my online bingo at Wonder Bingo over the last couple of weeks. I didn’t think I would be a fan of all the making friends and exchanging gift stuff, but you know what, it is strangely addictive. Sometimes you even forget to buy bingo tickets. You can be that busy making friend requests and acknowledging friend requests and sending and receiving gifts that the buying window has closed and you have missed a big money game. No really – there are a few, honest.
I am on Level 3 now. I’m classed as a ‘Skilled’ player, but I still have another five levels to climb. I have thousands of WonderBucks to spend on virtual gifts, but it is receiving the gifts that helps you move up the levels. The only thing is I don’t think everyone realises this and so not everyone is sending a gift back when they receive one to help the other person. However, that’s a minor quibble with this great site.
It is also great being in at the start of a brand new site for another reason – they have teething problems. Now while this can sometimes be annoying, it sometimes works to the players advantage as it did this weekend at Wonder Bingo. We told readers about the big £1,000 Saturday night guaranteed game for which tickets should have been £1 each. The countdown to the game started and the ticket price stayed at 5p!! We asked the CH if the £1,000 game was still on offer and, good on Wonder Bingo, it was. Wow! £200 for a line, £300 for two lines and a £500 full house for 5p a ticket.
One lucky player scooped a share of the line and then the two lines prize. However her joy was short lived – she got her winnings in bonus money as she had not made the minimum deposit required of £10 to ensure that any winnings are credited as cash. Maybe she should try to withdraw though in the hope that the restriction on withdrawing bonus winnings might also be hit by teething troubles.
Something similar happened in the first days of Bingo Hollywood. They have that super Saturday night weekly game 1000 Stars that has £1,000 to play for. In its first week the game played and instead of resetting itself afterwards to play again 7 days later, it played again just a few minutes later.
The only problem was there was only about a dozen people left in the room as everyone else had left to go back to their favourite rooms, so that time they too gave away a lot of money for peanuts.
Well I’ve thrown my hat into the Wonder Bingo ring and I will be there for the big games and I’ve made my deposit so I don’t lose out if I win big – some hope, I’m not that lucky!!
