Wow, I knew that Facebook apps like Farmville and Mafia Wars were popular and of course Wonder Bingo felt confident enough to introduce a pay to play bingo game following the sucess of its Facebook app, but I never saw coming the fallout the loss of such an app would cause.
Which Bingo ran the story earlier today that the Bingo Blitz Facebook app that offered free bingo had disappeared without warning and no-one knows what has happened to it or why it was removed, not even the developers. See it here.
Such is the strength of feeling, that we can fully understand as this is a great bingo game, that we at WhichBingo have created a petition to gather together as many names as possible calling for Bingo Blitz to be reinstated. We want to send this to Facebook to let them know the strength of support for this harmless bingo game that has obviously provided hours of fun for thousands of people and has become an integral part of their social lives.
