It’s all very well when a bingo site sends out a newsletter to try and get players to go along and play and join in with great promotions and to ensure that members don’t miss out on any great offers, but you shouldn’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to work out what the offer is!
The latest one I received from Virgin Bingo was a classic. I read it about four times and still didn’t understand fully what it was offering. What do you think?
It says, “Into the mystical world of Virgin Bingo this week and journey across fun terrain to seek 3 Hidden Treasure Rooms with up to £1,000 in FREE Jewel games. But, be warned, the vast unyielding doors of the Hidden Rooms will only open on Sunday to treasure seekers that have enjoyed lots of Bingo fun from Monday to Friday this week… Visit to find out which room you could embark upon based on your wagering this week. Your ultimate quest starts NOW! ”
Confusing don’t you think and I didn’t really get it. If the aim is to make online bingo players click through to the site to try and figure it out then it works. Eventually I figured out it had something to do with free bingo for spending at the site.
I tell everyone to sign up for newsletters when they join a new bingo site, but when they sound like this I’m not sure it helps – people may as well leave it to me to decipher them and read the offer in simple terms in the WhichBingo pages, lol.
Come on Virgin Bingo, attract us with a clear offer in plain English. The site has a great new look and some of the best bingo games around and we want to play, just make the promos simpler!
