It’s my birthday – bring on the freebies!

I celebrated my birthday recently (and no, I’m not going to say which one, lol) and I was more excited about the little gifts I knew I would receive in my inbox from the numerous online bingo sites I am a member of than about the bits a pieces I would receive from my loving family!

Unfortunately I think the recession might have hardened the hearts of the normally generous bingo folk, but the true freebies were a bit thin on the ground this year. However, there were still plenty of offers around to make the bingo pennies go a bit further for a few days at least.

Beacon Bingo was the first bingo site to contact me early in the week my birthday was to fall with a totally free £5 offer with no deposit required. I just had to log in and there it was. Lovely. Not far behind was another £5 from its stablemate Carlton Bingo. Thank you very much.

Tasty Bingo was the first of the Joy of Bingo network of sites to get in touch and they were offering a 75% deposit bonus payable with a special promo code and Red Bus Bingo, Wink Bingo and Posh Bingo were close behind with the same offer.

Other sites that then appeared with free no deposit offers were Party Bingo, Gina Bingo, Ready Set Bingo, King Jackpot and Bingo Liner, but to take up each of these there was a requirement to either enter a special code or to contact Live Help. Each was good enough to offer £5 free.

Many of the Virtue Fusion sites offered me £10 free for a deposit of £10 – among them Virgin Bingo, Deal or No Deal Bingo, Jackpot Bingo and Tea and Bingo. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take them all up on their generous offer, but I did a few and it certainly helped my money go a bit further that weekend.

A pattern developed and many of the Dragonfish sites offered a 75% deposit bonus, including Mirror Bingo, Bingo Giving and Rollover Bingo.

I managed to win a little with my bonus money from Tea and Bingo and Virgin Bingo, but that was just about it. As it turns out the site I did best at over the weekend was new bingo site X Bingo that has finally fully opened and is taking cash deposits. I just decided to give it a try even though they didn’t send me any presents;) – maybe next year guys!

So thank you all. I had a wonderful weekend being spoiled by the family and by all my favourite online bingo sites.
