It’s usually a day I try to ignore, Valentine’s Day. Being married for 27 years takes some of the excitement and mystery out of the day somewhat, so we rather avoid paying over the top prices for meals and flowers that are half the price whenever we buy them at any other time of the year.
It looks like we might not have been alone in avoiding the high priced restaurants last night – the Marks and Spencer Dine in for £20 with wine and chocolates sold out virtually across the country around lunchtime yesterday. Someone in the buying department will be in lots of trouble methinks.
Anyway, as many online bingo sites like to go all hearts and flowers for the day I have been reporting on lots of offers that were available. So, what kind of a role model would I be if I didn’t try some of them out, in the line of duty you understand, but I have to say that St Valentine might have been paying me back for ‘dissing’ his day as I didn’t even get a whiff of a win.
Wonder Bingo did players proud with some great one-off redeposit deals and a super themed room that was open for two hours and gave away £2,000. There were only about 160 people in the room and they are the kind of odds I favour, but I think the other 159 got all the winnings because they cetainly weren’t coming my way, lol.
Bingo Funland was running some extra games in its schedule that offered a prize pot of £140, split into two chances to win £70 for the outline of a heart and for a solid heart. The games were running from 4pm to 4am and were at random times in the schedule, but no matter how many of them I caught up with I couldn’t catch a break. I’m usually there for the must-go jackpots that play for an hour each a couple of times a day or the 30 ball bingo which offers something a bit different.
I dipped a toe into various other sites just to take a look and the £1,402 Love Celebration at abc Bingo was quite well attended and players were very keen to get their hands on the Pandora Bracelets and the £75 guaranteed jackpots that were being handed out at King Jackpot.
This is just a taster of what a few of my favourite online bingo sites were up to and I can’t wait for the next lot of special features to head my way in time for St Patrick’s Day and Easter. And I’ll be sure to share them all with you.
