While on the one hand tombola Bingo has launched a fab new game with Bingo 60 I do notice that room has been made for the new game by delivering a knockout blow to Knockout Bingo, or bingo in reverse as they called it.
This was an innovative game and delivered on the tombola aim of offering unique bingo games with a twist, but this one has a major flaw – it kicked too many players out of the winning arena too quickly and the rest of the game took too long to complete. This meant players got bored and wandered off looking for excitement elsewhere.
Well, having learned from that experience, Bingo 60 is the complete opposite. There are five chances to win on five different tickets in each game, each having a different amount of numbers to mark off, from 6 on the first card to 18 on the fifth card. All five cards are paid for with one stake, either 25p, 50p, £1 or £2 and the prize depends on the stake paid.
To engage you even more in the experience tombola are offering players the chance to mark the tickets themselves for the first time too. In fact you have complete control of the dabber and can even doodle away on the tickets if you want, just like in a real bingo hall!
Well done tombola, Bingo 60 is a great idea and great in action. While Knockout Bingo was a good idea on paper the boredom factor was too high, but that will never be a problem in Bingo 60. I love it. Haven’t had a win yet, but it’s very early days.
