A tale of two sites

I am returning to a theme I have touched on before, but one that is very dear to the hearts of most online bingo players, or any online gamer for that matter. That theme is the speed that online bingo sites pay out to their winning clients.

This issue was brought to my attention again very recently when I was lucky enough to secure sufficient winnings to withdraw at both Jackpotjoy and X Bingo on the same night.

Now the numbers were not extraordinary by any means, but that does not mean that once the decision is made to withdraw it would not be nice to have the money back in the shortest possible time to decide whether to spend, save or re-invest in further bingo games, either at the same site or a different site.

I was very pleased with the experience of withdrawing at Jackpotjoy, but being able to be directly compared, the X Bingo timescale was less flattering.

I deposited and played at both these online bingo sites on 19th June and made the withdrawal requests the same night. The X Bingo deposit I made was taken from my account the following day, 20th June, but the winnings did not reach my account until 25th June. By direct comparison, the deposit I made and the winnings I withdrew at Jackpotjoy both hit my account on the same date, just 2 days later, on 21st June – now that’s service.

I love playing at X Bingo due to its unique nature and great offers, but this is definitely an area it could improve in.

While the argument for longer processing times might be that players might decide to reverse and play again, it also means that any offers that are sent out in e-mails to those players with pending withdrawals are redundant, as they cannot take advantage of any special deposit deals. Prompt service in this area also means that players regard the site in a more favourable light and would be more inclined to make a further deposit, according to the feedback we receive at WhichBingo.

Some of the biggest names are not the best at paying out – such as Foxy Bingo, while the sportsbook sites have some of the fastest processing times around – think Paddy Power Bingo or William Hill Bingo. This is because they know that sportsbook gamblers would not stand for not having their winnings in their accounts immediately. Why should bingo players stand for service any less than this?

While X Bingo is the site directly involved in this particular instance they are by no means alone, and it must be pointed out that they have improved their turnaround time in recent months, so they are making efforts to ensure customers get their money as quickly as possible.

In this age of technological advancement, when faster payments between banks is the norm let’s make our voices heard to encourage all the bingo sites to commit to a two day maximum turnaround for withdrawals and if possible even less.

I loved Jackpotjoy, but they have just closed down all Australian accounts – can anyone suggest a similar site with the hosts and chat games that accepts Australians – please help me I’m desperate.
