It’s great seeing all the different ways that online bingo sites are trying to make themselves stand out from the crowd even though this is getting more and more difficult as new bingo sites open on familiar software or on the same networks as so many others.
M8ts Bingo opened recently and straight away creates its own talking point by the way the name has been set up. It obviously wants to be seen to be ultra modern with its text speak style, but the extra ‘t’ together with the 8 would normally be redundant as ‘M8s’ would sound the same. We’ll never know if this was a typo that was noticed too late or a genius plan to get people talking about it and make the brand more memorable – I know which will be claimed, lol.
However, it’s not only the name that makes M8ts Bingo stand out. It operates on Parlay software and offers a similar experience to the new look Wonder Bingo. However, M8ts has a special addition in its Featured Groups. Players can choose a group or groups to join and every win a player achieves adds to the group pot of the one that they are active at the time.
Some of the figures that have been achieved by the groups so far make interesting reading. M8ts Bingo opened in May and from day 1 has featured a Cat Lovers group and a We Love Soaps group. These currently have 122 members and 83 members respectively. A new group opened up recently – the We Love Big Brother group – following the launch of the new series. This has just 41 members.
However, what made me sit up and take notice is the fact that the Big Brother group has already accumulated a prize fund of £125.17 while the Cat Lovers have only managed £20.98 and the Soaps group has only managed £14.47. Does this mean that the Big Brother fans are sat in front of their TV all day glued to the goings on in the house with their laptops open and playing at M8ts Bingo? It certainly looks like it.
Whatever the reason for the anomaly in Group funds M8ts Bingo has definitely come up with a great idea to make it stand out from the crowd right from the start. I look forward to seeing what else they will come up with over the coming months. If you want to check it out for yourself there is a free £5 no deposit bonus on offer.
