What will survive the Gala Bingo makeover?

Some people love change and the excitement and challenges it brings, others don’t like it at all.

Gala Bingo are making one of the biggest changes in online bingo history and moving from their own proprietary bingo software to the Virtue Fusion platform.

In an effort to familiarise players a little with this Gala has brought in Peter Andre to host a short video to introduce how the software looks.

He’s a friendly kind of guy to introduce this most friendly of softwares in a soft soap way.

Some of our readers have already seen the video and Gala Bingo may have to work harder than they anticipated to keep their players happy.

This is what WhichBingo reader Amanda has to say: “Don’t like the new look it’s just exactly the same as Mecca and Carlton bingo sites.. So what’s new about that , those sites have been running for years. I always preferred Gala because it was different. What is there to entice me to play there now? Nothing. Sorry Gala you might be losing one of many customers? :(

Personally, of all the unique features that Gala Bingo has developed over the years, the one that sticks in my mind and is my favourite is the 1tg flasher. I don’t know what it is about it, but it is just so exciting to see it and it makes you feel good.

It seems to light up the whole ticket! And when you get a few of them on different tickets it’s like fireworks going off!

I hope that Gala Bingo can retain this feature at the new look site – I for one will be disappointed if it isn’t there and I don’t think I will be the only one. It will also seem odd that the major high street rivals Gala Bingo and Mecca Bingo will now be part of the same stable and that all their customers will come together for all the networked games that Virtue Fusion sites offer with the chance of huge prizes.

Of course this is nothing new as the likes of Bucky Bingo and Carlton Bingo also have a high street presence and all have worked together in harmony on the platform for many years.

If you see the video on Facebook or through the site have fun throwing the balls that surround the video about with your mouse; just one small indication of how proud Gala is of the changes they have introduced and how they believe it will enhance every players’ experience with them.

I can’t wait to see how the all new Gala Bingo looks when it re-opens tonight and hope to see some of you there.
