Have you seen the latest Gala Bingo survey that reveals the top ten names that appear to be the luckiest?
If you are called Julie, Susan, Sharon, Janet, Margaret, David, Patricia, Christine, Linda or Paul it would seem that you have a better than average chance of winning at the average online bingo game – does your experience in the virtual bingo world back this up?
I have noticed some days when I am playing that you will get a run of user names with a similar theme that would seem to back up this view – misssue; suzyg69; susiebabe or jules13, then julieb or unluckyjue – and I have considered changing my name to get in on the act.
Once the results of this survey are known to the wider online bingo game audience I wonder if we will see a rush of names along the lines of JulSuzShaz or MagsJan or JanetnJulie. I might give it a go to see if I have any better luck with some of those attractive progressive jackpots that are out there at the moment.

Foxy Bingo’s famous mascot, Foxy the fox, is back on our TV screens again today with a brand new advert and it’s bound to catch your eyes – and your ears.
Now completely CGI generated rather than being a cuddly looking fury chap in a suit, Foxy is seen dancing around a supermarket after a woman called Mandy, singing a revised version of ‘You’re the one that I want’ from the film ‘Grease’.
Like many Foxy Bingo adverts from the past, this one is hard to ignore and it’s definitely one of those tunes that gets stuck in your head. Whether it will tempt you, the viewing public, to head over to Foxy Bingo remains to be seen!

Has anyone out there played bingo on their mobile yet? It seems to be spreading like wildfire!
Brand new bingo site, Bingo Anywhere
Bingo.com’s new software has enabled them to offer players bingo games over smart phones, and WhichBingo UK has just announced the launch of Bingo Anywhere – a site that claims to offer bingo anywhere, anytime on your mobile.
I haven’t played at the site yet but there is a £20 sign up bonus and if what they’re saying is true, you’ll soon be able to play their bingo games and slots no matter where you are or whatever else you’re doing!

Readers of WhichBingo UK’s news section will already know that there’s a brand new face in town – Silk Bingo.

Which Bingo’s sources revealed today that Silk Bingo has just launched and is available to play at right now. The WB team were so quick off the mark, they reported the news of the launch before the site was even listed on Google!
The site itself looks like a rather classy establishment, and with 20 free bingo cards upon registration, it certainly seems worth a look.

The weather is pretty chilly here in Yorkshire this morning, but not half as chilly as it will be during the first game of bingo to be played on Mount Everest!
Gala Bingo players are climbing Everest
Gala Bingo have announced that 24 of their most dedicated bingo players will tackle Everest in an attempt to smash the record for the World’s Highest Game of Bingo.
Now, I might be wrong, but this is going to involve slightly more effort than popping on the net for a game of online bingo, methinks. And it won’t be like putting on your jacket and catching the bus to your local Gala Bingo club.
The intrepid group have been training hard as they prepare to take on dehydration, altitude sickness and deep vein thrombosis on their voyage – obstacles more hazardous than even the grumpiest of bus drivers!
As well as hoping to break the world record, the Everest base camp bingo players aim to raise £100,000 for Sue Ryder Care, to contribute to Gala Bingo’s target of £1 million by the end of the year.
Personally, I wish them all the best in their quest (but I’m going to make myself a warm cup of coffee and play bingo online!).

A jalapeno bearing a striking resemblance to Richard Branson is the new face of popular online bingo site Virgin Bingo.

The new advert, which can be seen here, has been launched to advertise Virgin’s three daily hours of free bingo, which are available for a limited time only.
Free bingo games are available at Virgin Bingo from 1pm – 2pm and 5pm – 7pm every day until November 2nd.
The all-singing, all-dancing jalapeno certainly picked up Branson’s entrepeneurial, entertaining spirit, but here at WhichBingo UK we’re struggling to work out the relevance of dancing peppers to Virgin or to bingo!?!

Bingo site TV ads have a tendency to be slightly odd but I believe Wink Bingo’s latest offering is the most bizarre of the bunch!

Now I’m a big fan of dogs but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t find this one just a little bit disturbing!

Readers of the WhichBingo News page will have heard about Mecca Bingo giving away a VIP trip to Las Vegas, but is that the best prize ever to be given away by a bingo site?
