When an online bingo site decides to change the software platform it operates on there is much that can go wrong. While possibly attracting new customers with great opening offers and improved facilities, the changeover can prove problematical for existing members.
Such is the case with Live Bingo. LiveBingo has just moved to the Virtue Fusion operating system as reported by WhichBingo recently and naturally, in the interests of journalistic investigation, I made a deposit using my old LiveBingo credentials. I played through this cash and found the site to be a standard Better Bingo Network performer, with access to 90 ball bingo, 75 ball bingo and Bingo Studio Live.
That was at the end of September. Today an e-mail arrived offering £5 free to those transferring funds from old Live Bingo accounts just by sending in an e-mail and a further £30 free as a first deposit bonus on a deposit of just £10 by going to Live Help and quoting 5LIVE.
As I had already deposited at the new site I contacted Live Help for my bonus, but was told that I had actually been playing on my existing Jackpot
Bingo account, which is on the same network and just happened to have the same login details as I used at Live Bingo. So I now have to try and register a new account at Live Bingo and deposit another £10 to qualify for the bingo bonus.
Now registering may be the hard part, as the Better Bingo Network does not like members to have accounts at multiple sites on the network, so for me that tempting bonus is probably out of reach.
However, there is no denying that this is a great offer to anyone that might not yet have acted on moving over their account. Players should ensure that the first thing they do is register a brand new account at the new Live Bingo, then contact Live Help to transfer funds from the old site and to have the bonuses allocated.
Anyone that has never played at Live Bingo before, but would like to join, will receive £25 free on a first deposit of just £10.
