It's been a long time in the planning, but we can reveal that the wait has been worthwhile - the new look Gala Bingo is a sure fire winner.
Gala Bingo announced some time ago that its unique online bingo platform was no longer able to cope with the volume of players that were passing through its doors. After much deliberation it was decided to adopt Virtue Fusion software and it would appear from visiting the site that this was a wise choice - Gala Bingo and Virtue Fusion are a perfect fit.
Existing players will be happy to see that many of the familiar and well loved features have survived the move. These include the special array of Gala rooms, such as City and Seaside and Dreams and all the others; the special Spotlight jackpots are there as are many of the unique Gala scratchcards such as Girls Night Out and Footballers Wags.
Gala TV becomes Gala Live and Peter Andre is the new face of the site. This warm and friendly celebrity is a perfect fit for this all new bingo site.
The colour scheme retains the classic Gala deep blue and yellow theme, but everything seems to be in sharp focus and very clear- almost HD in appearance and very attractive. Everything is clearly laid out and it does not take long to work out how to get around and to get to where you want to play.
The new Gala Bingo site also has a brand new welcome offer for new players. A spend of just £10 on bingo tickets attracts a welcome bonus of a free £30 on top. Even better news is the fact that the wagering requirement on this bonus is just x 2 and if you have a cash balance any spending comes off the bonus funds first, so it is possible to build up a fund to withdrawal levels.
There have been one or two technical issues over the first couple of days, but Gala are working quickly to ensure these are resolved.
While established Gala Bingo players are mixed in their reactions to the changes, all the new players that have signed up have loved the experience - join now and see what you think.
Let WhichBingo readers know how you found playing at this all new bingo site at our Gala Bingo reviews page.

Bingo players all over the UK are mourning the loss of the old Gala site. Most of the veteran players have been playing Virtue Fusion software for years on other sites so the upgrade by Gala has offered nothing new, in fact Gala has lost its uniqueness and the homely feeling for the players. Is this the online bingo equivalent of the end of the High Street? Whilst I can see the benefit of linked games for the operators, most players need to feel that they are in with some sort of a chance of winning or why bother at all ? Why not just play on a free bingo site. The site has a cluttered and more corporate feel about it with too many options and a reward scheme which involves input from the player (i.e. why can't they just stick a few quid in your account at the end of the month if you qualify?) Well, I'm sure like all veterans I'll keep playing, in my mourning attire, grumbling at the changes, after all, the Gala customer service team are the best on the net. I think Gala may have misjudged this one though - time will tell.

What really jumps out from the reporting of these events at Dotty Bingo though, is the fact that one of the TV ads has been banned from being shown on daytime television and can only be shown after the watershed. The fact that it is called 'The Rabbit' and takes place in the bedroom will give a clue to many as to possibly why...read more"
