Beacon Bingo has been part of the UK bingo scene for as long as anyone can remember and it wasted no time in jumping into online bingo in its infancy and has also recently joined the ranks of social gaming operators on Facebook with its Beacon Bingo Friends game.

However, it is the historic Streatham Hill Road venue that is in the news at the moment with a brand new innovation for August to entice players through its doors. This Beacon Bingo branch will be offering free food and drink to its players all month long.
Every player through the doors at Streatham that purchases bingo books during August will be able to choose from three different hot meals and will also receive a free soft or hot drink.
There will be a different culinary theme each day:
Monday – American
Tuesday – Best of British
Wednesday – Caribbean
Thursday – Indian
Friday – Fish and chips day
Saturday – Taste of Italy
Sunday – Sunday Fayre
Streatham General Manager Danny Bhikoo said of the offer, "The free food and drink promotion is the ideal opportunity for anyway who has never tried bingo before to come along and see what they are missing. I am excited to welcome new and existing bingo players.."
Sounds like a good way to get people through the doors, but we don't envisage Gala Bingo or Mecca Bingo following suit any time soon.
