The Bingo Association has launched a brand new website aimed at gathering support towards persuading the government to keep bingo tax at 15%.
WhichBingo has continued to bring you the latest news regarding the tax increase that was announced in the Chancellors budget speech. The current plan is to raise tax on the UK bingo industry to 22%, while other gaming sectors tax rate will remain at 15%.
The site called 'Im Backing Bingo' features many ways to help players get involved in the campaign, including a downloadable letter that all users can print off and send to their MP, In addition to this players can also print off badges and contribute to the Facebook group.
The Bingo Association is made up by Mecca Bingo, Gala Bingo, Buckingham Bingo, Castle Bingo, Carlton Bingo and Rank Group and they are all aiming to get as many people as possible to back the plan as much as they can.
The online petition on the 'Number 10 Downing Street' website has over 2,000 signatures, details of which can also be found through the back bingo campaign website.
