Counting down to WhichBingo Site of the Year voting

It's really started to feel like we are on the countdown to Christmas here in the WhichBingo offices. We have booked our Christmas party, started discussing what we are going to wear and investigating all the great offers that the online bingo sites have got lined up for our delectation during December.

However the biggest giveaway is the fact that the preparations have started for the annual WhichBingo Site of the Year Awards. This is the chance for players to come together to ensure that their favourite site is recognised for its hard work in keeping them entertained and, hopefully, winning.

Last year's winner of the Site of the Year Award, Sun Bingo, will be fighting hard to retain its title, although it has seen some solid competition this year. Competition not only from its well established competitors and previous award winners such as Ladbrokes Bingo and Jackpotjoy Bingo, but from the dozens of new bingo sites that have made 2011 a resounding success as far as online bingo is concerned.

Due to the popularity of the awards we have decided to expand the voting categories this year to give players the chance to recognise how different bingo sites may excel in different ways.

The only compulsory category that we would like all readers to vote in is, of course, the overall Bingo Site of the Year. The other categories will be:

New Bingo Site of the Year - from all sites opened since December 2010 to the end of November 2011
Best Bingo Promotion
Best Bingo TV Advertising Campaign

Every online bingo site in our directory is eligible for a vote as Site of the Year as is every new bingo site, but if there are any promotions or campaigns you think should feature in the shortlist that we are currently putting together be sure to let us know below.

Will William Hill Bingo be recognised for giving away a car every day in October, will Wink Bingo be seen as the best for taking part in the £25k Joypot offers or how about Sun Bingo with its 'Live Free for a Year' offer that gave away £25,000 every week for a month.

We would like all readers to start thinking about their favourite bingo sites to be ready to cast those all important votes when voting opens on 1st December. The vote will then remain open all month and the results will be announced in early January 2012.
