Part 3 - How to log in and play Internet Bingo

Once you have downloaded the online bingo game software (if needed), registered and deposited, you are ready to play.

If you are not already, you will need to log in. To log in you'll need your username (account number) and your password. Once logged in, depending on the internet bingo game you are playing at, you will have access to all your account details and also a choice of bingo games to play. These different games are often referred to as 'streams'.

You can then select a bingo game stream from the bingo game selection page, usually by clicking on the appropriate bingo game icon. The variety of bingo games will have different ticket values, ranging from 10p up to, and over, ?1.00. The games are played randomly every few minutes, 24 hours a day, every day, 7 days a week.

Having selected your game stream, the Bingo game interface will automatically load with Bingo tickets that can be used to play in the next upcoming game. All you need to do is click on the tickets that you wish to play and then click on the 'purchase' button.

When the game begins, the software's Bingo Caller announces the balls as they come out. Each number that is called appears on the call board as they are announced. Most software will mark or 'daub' the called numbers that match the numbers on their Bingo ticket automatically. Sites that only offer manual daubing will often offer a 'catch up' button on the game interface to automatically daub any called numbers that may have been missed by the player during a game that is in progress.

The game finishes when a player completes either the single line, two lines or full house, with the software automatically 'calling' BINGO for the player. If you are the first player to match the pattern in play, click on the 'Claim' button to claim your prize. However, even if you fail to click on the 'claim' button when you are the valid winner, this will NOT disqualify you from being the winner! You will be declared the valid winner even if you have inadvertently closed your Bingo session, have been disconnected from the game, or simply forgotten to click the claim button.

As with land-based bingo, internet bingo games can sometimes produce more than one winner. If more than one player gets Bingo on the same call then the prize is split equally between the two winners.
