The Joy of Bingo group of sites have a very caring side. They care for their players by offering great bonuses and a great variety of bingo games and loads of ways to win big. Now the group has gone even further and has extended that caring to support the Breast Cancer Care charity.
For those that don't know, the Joy of Bingo group of sites takes in Wink Bingo, Big Brother Bingo, Tasty Bingo, Posh Bingo, 888ladies Bingo, BingoStreet and RedBus Bingo. This network is unique in that each site operates individually of the other, except for some very well publicised big events during the year they come together for, such as the Joypot. This gives away prize money totalling £100,000 over the year in periodic big money games, at a different site each time, for which players can earn free bingo tickets.
Now the 888.com and the Joy of Bingo team has joined forces with Breast Cancer Care and those sites will be coming together more often with the aim of raising a total of at least £20,000 within the next 12 months.
To do this the sites will come together to play the Strawberry Tea Games and to run promotions such as 'guess the number of sweets in a jar'.
The first Strawberry Tea £1,000 jackpot games have already taken place at 888ladies Bingo and Wink Bingo and have raised £3,828 and £5,224 respectively for the charity. This is achieved as every £1 bingo ticket purchased by players for the game results in a £2 donation being made by Joy of Bingo.
The name of the game comes from the Breast Cancer Care 'Host a Strawberry Tea' initiative, similar to the MacMillan Nurses Coffee Mornings, bringing people together for tea and cakes and fundraising fun.
There are still 5 chances to win a £1,000 cash prize in these 75 ball bingo games, bearing in mind that every £1 ticket purchased results in a £2 donation to the charity:
