Mecca Bingo hall burgled
Last week a Mecca Bingo Hall in Southampton was burgled after it closed early due to the bad weather.
The heavy snow and ice had forced the bingo club to send everyone home. However, later in the day theives broke in and stole what is believed to be thousands of pounds.
As the hall was closed there were no staff inside the bingo hall, and no one was hurt. However the hall was completely ransacked with many gaming machines destroyed to gain access to the money inside them.
Since the incident on Wednesday, all the staff have pulled together in what has been a major clean up, and the hall is now open as usual.
Local Southampton police have not stated how much was taken, but it is clear that the theives got away with alot of money.
