Never one to rest on its laurels for long or give players chance to get bored, it looks like Jackpotjoy has moved on. A new TV campaign has just started with branding and a tag line that looks a lot more modern than of late and which moves the Queen of Bingo slightly to the sidelines. Have a look at the TV ad below.
The bingo site has not deserted its sense of fun. Pensioners on spiced up invalidity scooters are an unusual choice. Could it be that Jackpotjoy is challenging people's perceptions of online bingo. Just as the ad surprises us with the fact that it is these type of scooters that are hitting the track at high speed with older people on board and not as expected young people on motorbikes, you don't need to be old and grey to play bingo.
Whichever it turns out to be the new tag line 'Just for the Jackpotjoy of it' is catchy and easily memorable. These old folk could be seen more and more around the site. Barbara Windsor has been moved to the borders of the homepage, just like she is just shown at the start and finish of the TV race and the site is now calling itself 'The Queen of Bingo Sites', which seems to be a subtle change from being represented by 'The Queen of Bingo'.
The Queen of Bingo identity was first launched two years ago and it could have been decided that this stage is now passed and it's time for something new. However, it's safe to say that whatever the branding the bingo games and slots inside remain some of the best around with some of the best prizes and promotions. Oh, and it is still possible to get £20 free for a deposit of just £10 - that message comes across loud and clear.
