BetFred Bingo – It’s a knockout!
The world’s biggest independent bookmaker Betfred has been boosted by the acquisition of eccentric broadcaster Stuart Hall as its exclusive bingo caller.
Players at Betfred Bingo will soon be able to hear the man already being dubbed ‘Bingo Hall’ as he calls the balls in his trademark style.
Hall wrote himself into british broadcasting history by presenting gameshow ‘It’s A Knockout’ and he will also be recording regular podcasts which his fans will be able to download from Betfred.
Established in 1967, Betfred has earned its place amongst the UK’s top four bookmakers and its venture into the online bingo market is proving hugely successful.
In one month since the launch of its stand-alone bingo site, Betfred has seen a 300 per cent increase in the number of people playing.
“Betfred Bingo has simply exploded; we’ve seen a phenomenal increase in the number of people playing bingo online with us since it’s launch,” said Betfred PR Manager Jamie Watson. “The response has been fantastic; we’ve already had a £12,000 jackpot win and Fred has reacted by increasing the next one to £20,000!”
