Gala Bingo players find love online
Two bingo players have found true love playing their favourite game online at Gala Bingo. Both their lives have been transformed and they are now busy planning their wedding!
Catherine Whitehead from Preston, and Julian Brook from Hull met earlier this year in the chat rooms and bingo games at Gala Bingo Online.
Their relationship quickly progressed from talking in the public rooms, to contacting each other using instant messaging and a webcam. Soon they began to regularly talk over the phone and finally decided to meet. The first meeting was in Hull and they hit it off straight away. Catherine added: "We already knew each other really well because we’d spent hours online and on the phone chatting. Meeting each other face to face in Hull just confirmed how compatible we were.”
Catherine used to be a regular player at her local Gala Bingo Hall until temperary health problem prevented her from getting out. It was then, with the help of her daughter, that she learnt to love the game online! The couple are still living apart but plan to marry sometime in November this year.
