Playtech post encouraging results

Online gambling software firm Playtech is well known to online bingo players and the firm has just posted some encouraging Quarter 2 figures.

Playtech have announced that second quarter gross income rose 2% on the previous quarter mainly due to strong growth from the casino and bingo areas of the business which has offset a decline in poker revenue. Shares in Playtech closed on Tuesday at 420 pence, valuing the business at £1.02 billion.
