Two online bingo sites to close soon
In reporting so regularly recently on the numerous new online bingo sites that are opening, it is easy to forget that possibly some of the smaller bingo sites may be having a difficult time.
Not all online bingo sites have massive marketing budgets or are part of a larger support network to sustain them. Two bingo sites understood to be closing at the end of June are Bingo777 and Bingo Fantasy.
It could be that the cold, hard wind of increased competition in the marketplace and the bingo operator amalgamations that have taken place over the last couple of years are causing providers to look long and hard at their offerings and where they believe their future profits lie.
In this instance a contributory factor is probably that these two sites operate on the original Playtech online bingo software and if that had been a star performer there would have been no need for the acquisition of Virtue Fusion not that long ago.
It could also be that other long established Playtech sites may have to look at themselves soon and decisions taken as to future direction.
The company behind Bingo 777 and Bingo Fantasy also own casino operations City Club Casino and Crown Europe, which have been outperforming the market, and if a company knows it does something well it makes sense to specialise.
One Playtech company that seems to buck the trend is Ruby Bingo. Players from the sites that are closing may want to consider switching. £16 no deposit bonus can be accepted with wagering requirements or refused to be able to withdraw any winnings from deposits immediately.
