Carlton sells clubs

Carlton Clubs have sold two bingo halls in Edinburgh and Grangemouth for a total of £1.35 million.

The Destiny Church bought the Tivoli Bingo Hall on Gorgie Road, Edinburgh, for £900,000, while Cabri (Three) bought the bingo hall in Station Road, Grangemouth, for £450,000.

Surveyor Simon Bashford, who dealt with the sales, said: "The Edinburgh deal reflects the fact that modern day automated bingo now require more contemporary premises."
