A judge has awarded two women a share of a £50,000 bingo win after they sued their sister.
Linda Kenny, 53, and Doreen Thomas, 57, sued their sister Edna Sexton, 59, for reneging on a verbal agreement made in 2005 to share bingo winnings.
Mrs Sexton won £50,000 at the Buckingham Bingo Palace in Hunts Cross, Liverpool, in June 2007 and refused to share the win with her sisters.
The judge at Chester County Court agreed that Mrs Sexton had gone back on her agreement and awarded the sisters £17,463 each – their share of the winnings, plus interest.
Mrs Kenny and Mrs Thomas later said Mrs Sexton had spent the cash.
