WhichBingo can exclusively reval that Vernons Bingo is to be the new name for Littlewoods Bingo. The change will take place on Thursday May 10th.
Sportech PLC, the owners of both brands, have decided that as part of their strategy to focus its online operations on the Vernons e-Gaming brand, ‘Littlewoods Bingo will disappear from the online bingo landscape. For those old enough to remember the heyday of football pools, Vernons has been in gaming for more than 85 years.
A spokesperson from Sportech plc told us "consolidating the Vernons and Littlewoods Gaming brands under one name gives Sportech the opportunity to offer customers a better service, bigger promotions and rewards plus new games as part of an ever improving gaming experience. Combining these two businesses under one name allows us to provide ALL our customers with an even better customer service, bigger promotions & loyalty rewards and an ever improving gaming experience."
According to Sportech plc the change to Vernons Bingo will mean better cash rewards and promotions. As part of the launch Vernons Bingo will offer three special offers;
a) A free bonus or free cash of up to £500
b) a 200% deposit bonus of up to £200. This means that players can triple their deposit eg deposit £30 youll have £90 to play with.
c) Players at Vernons Bingo will be entered into a £10,000 Prize Giveaway. The list of prizes on offer includes;
