It's a big week in the online bingo world and one that is eagerly anticipated by all the major players in the industry. The 7th Online Bingo Summit takes place in London and the end of this week and, being an event solely dedicated to online bingo that is attended by many senior industry figures, it is when lots of new ideas and trends are made public.
WhichBingo will be in attendance to find out what we can look forward to over the next 12 months, but one thing that is already clear is that mobile online bingo is high on the list of many operators.
Mecca Bingo got their mobile offer out last year, way ahead of the pack, but just recently William Hill Bingo and Paddy Power Bingo have finalised their mobile offer. iBingo, Comfy Bingo and many Cozy Games sites also have state of the art mobile bingo offers, but many more sites will learn much from this year's summit, so the next 12 months could see the technology take off in a big way across hundreds of sites.
Every bingo site has its own strategy for enticing players in the door, but it would appear that the focus may be changing to player retention strategy and how increasing the social gaming side of the bingo offer will help, together with greater interactivity. Bingo Cams know all about innovation and encouraging player interaction with the site and will be a major speaker within this arena.
The good news is that for the third year running there will be a Player Panel question and answer session. Real players are given centre stage and are asked what they find good and bad about the industry and what is on offer and is always the best attended and most vocal session of the conference. This means that players can be sure that the sites know exactly what they want and can then go and think about how to best deliver it.
It promises to be a busy two days and we can't wait to see what to expect from the online bingo world over the next 12 months - the Online Bingo Summit is similar to the toy trade revealing during the summer what it expects to be the big Christmas sellers that year.

It was my birthday yesterday and do you know what - I had to take a day off to wade through the dozens of bingo offers that landed in my in-box. Well, that's not strictly true. I had the day off anyway, but it did take a lot of time to get through all the bingo bonus offers that arrived....read more"

Coral Bingo
Coral Bingo has not been around as a bingo brand in its own right for very long, but it has quickly stepped out of the shadows and is making a name for itself in its own right in the competitive online bingo market. So much so that we think it is deserving of the title of WhichBingo Site of the Month for June 2013.
