Site of the Year 2008 Results
The 2008 Which Bingo Site of the Year vote results are finally here and once again we have received a record number of votes cast. With online bingo’s popularity growing year on year, it is great to see more and more players voting for their Site of the Year and New Site of the Year.
The UK Site of the Year award recognises and rewards excellence in UK online bingo, as voted by the most important people in the game, you the players. This highly sought after award is now into its third year and is held with very high esteem by both bingo operators and players alike.
So without further ado, we can tell you that the winner of the WhichBingo UK Site of the Year 2008 award is Jackpotjoy!
Hugely popular with players all over the UK, Jackpotjoy regularly offers some of the highest jackpots in online bingo. The site was 14th in 2007’s Site of the Year vote and the achievement of winning the 2008 award is testament to the hard work by the whole team at Jackpotjoy in making such impressive progress.
Narrowly missing out on the top honour this year was Platinum Play Bingo, while other runners up included Crown Bingo, Bingo Liner UK and Sun Bingo. The New Site of the Year award is now into its second year and 2008 was a huge year for the launch of new bingo sites. Competition for votes was fierce, with 23 new sites involved, but there could only be one winner and we are delighted to name Bingo Playground as the WhichBingo UK New Site of the Year, 2008.
The scale of Bingo Playground’s achievement becomes clear when you see the calibre of the competition the site faced in this year’s vote. In second place was the up-and-coming Tombola, closely followed by Wink Bingo in third place.
Platinum Play Bingo coupled their second place on the Site of the Year vote with fourth place on the New Site of the Year and House Of Bingo were fifth.
