Site of the Year 2010 Results

The 2010 Which Bingo UK Site of the Year vote is now over. As always, we have not been able to take our eyes off the voting this year, and although it went right down to the wire, there can only be one winner! We are delighted to announce that the WhichBingo UK 2010 Site of the Year crown goes to Sun Bingo!

The online bingo site from The Sun newspaper entered the online bingo market in 2006, and has since become the number one stop for bingo players everywhere! This year's highlights must include their promotion from last summer when they gave away 30 brand new cars in 30 days, a promotion that would be hard to beat anywhere on the internet! Congratulations to everyone at Sun Bingo!

Completing the top three positions were Mecca Bingo and Moon Bingo. By finishing second Mecca Bingo have repeated their performance from the 2009 vote, and they also round off the year with the CM Team of the Year award from WhichCM.com. Moon Bingo raised their stature in 2010 by re-launching as a standalone site and ran their first TV advertisement. Well done to you both, you made it a hugely competitive vote.

Along with Site of the Year, in December we also ran our fourth annual search to find the UK New Site of the Year. As ever, this vote was fiercely contested by every bingo site to open its doors in 2010. The last 12 months have seen the launch of over 40 new bingo sites, maintaining the rapid level of growth we have seen in previous years.

The winner of the WhichBingo UK 2010 New Site of the Year goes to Bingo Hollywood. The glamorous bingo site launched back in April, and they have since become one of the most popular stops for bingo players.

In second place was BingoGiving, who have brought the new innovation of donating a percentage of every jackpot won to charity. They were followed by Moon Bingo in third, with 888Bingo and Bingo All Day completing the top five.
