Big Time Gaming Jackpot Slot Pays Out Over €1m

The Australian software developer Big Time Gaming has just seen its popular Who Wants to Be a Millionaire online slot pay out a record jackpot. The win was scooped at one of the UK’s best-known online bookmakers and was worth a whopping €1,036,049.65!

A member of Betfair Casino has just claimed a huge jackpot courtesy of Big Time Gaming’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Megapays online slot.

How much did they win?

The player (whose name is being kept anonymous) scored over €1,036,000 with a modest bet of just €0.70.

According to the game’s developer, the return on investment works out at 1,480,000%!

It’s a record-breaker!

Even though the slot has four different jackpots, this is the first time that it’s awarded a seven-figure amount since it made its debut in September 2020.

What’s the game all about?

Big Time Gaming’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Megapays video slot is based on the much-loved British TV game show of the same name.

Like Bonanza, it uses the software developer’s patented Megaways pay system to offer players as many as 117,649 ways to win. In addition, it features four progressive jackpots called Mini, Midi, Major and Mega which are funded by a portion of all bets that are placed on the game.

The 6-reel video slot also boasts a Free Spins Bonus which is triggered by 3 scatter symbols landing anywhere on the reels. It allows you to play your way to cash rewards via the TV show’s famous Hot Seat with the help of familiar features like 50/50, Phone a Friend and Ask the Audience.

The Who Wants to Be a Millionaire slot uses a Reactions feature too, and it gives you the chance to score consecutive wins by removing winning symbols and replacing them with new ones.

More about the millionaire-making win

The CEO of Big Time Gaming, Nik Robinson says that “it was only a matter of time” before the game created its first official millionaire, and he’s delighted that the jackpot was claimed on the 1st anniversary of the slot’s release.
