Bingo Fans Invited to Appear in Upcoming Ad Campaign

Unlike some brands, Tombola has always featured real players in its TV ad campaigns. This year, it’s once again inviting fans to apply to star in its next advert and highlight why tombola’s community makes it one of the UK’s most popular bingo sites.

The rules

Due to advertising rules, only players who are aged 25 or older can apply to star in the ad.

Both Tombola Bingo and Tombola Arcade players are invited to enter, as long as they’re “friendly, smiling players that represent the community”.

There’s no fee to enter the competition, and expenses for travel, accommodation, and food will be covered for both casting and shoot days.

How to apply

On the Tombola homepage, you should be able to see a banner that’s titled “Do you want to be in a Tombola advert?” If you click it, you’ll be taken to the overview of how the competition works where there’s also a link to the application form.

You must enter some basic information such as your first and last name, your Tombola username, your age group, your home address, your telephone number, your email address, and a brief explanation of why you’d like to star in the upcoming ad campaign, plus a little bit about yourself.

Once you’ve submitted your application form online, you must also send a recent photo of yourself to the email address provided on the competition page.

How will the winners be chosen?

The casting team at Tombola will assess all the applications to see which players are the best fit, and there are 100 spaces.

The successful applications will get to attend a casting day in May where they’ll get to mingle with the brand’s chat hosts and fellow players while enjoying some dancing, games, prizes, and plenty of laughs.

Following the casting event, 30 players will be selected for the shoot days which will occur during June 2022 at various top-secret locations.

Further information

The competition page also contains a brief video that features some of the previous stars of Tombola TV ads where they share their experiences of working with the brand.
