As the UK marked its first-ever National Bingo Day on Sunday, 27th June 2021, players flocked to celebrate at their local bingo halls. There were plenty of wins claimed up and down England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but only Buzz Bingo managed to claim three of the biggest National Bingo Game prizes.
We hope that you managed to sneak in a game or two on National Bingo Day last weekend. Maybe you were lucky enough to win a full house either online and at your local bingo club?
Somewhere out there five players, possibly even some of our readers, are celebrating some very impressive National Bingo Day wins.
Who won the jackpots?
You may recall us mentioning that as part of the National Bingo Day celebrations, the team behind the National Bingo Game was also offering some extra big prizes. Well, it turns out that five lucky people managed to scoop a share of the two £50k jackpots, the first of which was claimed during the afternoon session and the second of which was awarded during the evening session.
The afternoon jackpot win saw three players (from Buzz Bingo Motherwell, Buzz Bingo Enfield, and Club 3000 Greenock) claim £16.6k each. The evening jackpot only had to be split two ways, with £25k going to a player from Buzz Bingo Lincoln and the other £25k to a customer at Castle Bingo in Morriston.
As an extra treat for those playing the National Bingo Game on National Bingo Day 2021, every player in each of the winning clubs was also awarded £100 each.
It wasn’t just bingo players who benefitted from National Bingo Day. Mecca Bingo, which hosted a series of special charity games has just presented Variety, the Children’s Charity with a cheque for £15,000.
Mecca also worked alongside WhichBingo to create an exclusive free bingo room that welcomed our readers to play for £100 prize pots in 10 free games. We’d love to hear from you if you were one of the lucky winners!
Gala Bingo also joined in with National Bingo Day by giving away £10 and £100 Love2Shop vouchers via an Instagram competition.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait for next summer to roll around so that we can mark National Bingo Day all over again!
