Do YOU know this bingo song?

If you’ve ever played bingo in a holiday park or resort, chances are you will have heard the Bingo Song.

This is a very catchy piece of music played before the bingo begins, which acts as a signal to everyone to get seated and to get their dabbers ready for the big game.

We’ve been given exclusive permission from Bingo Song writer and composer, Ashley Wheelhouse, to publish a clip from the Bingo Song he first created in 2004.

The Bingo Song Lyrics

The lyrics are proper British bingo culture, with plenty of sexual innuendo and swearing involved. It does make you chuckle.

Here are the bingo song lyrics in full:

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, it’s now time… for… BINGOOOO!

Bingo, bingo, get your dabbers out.
Bingo, bingo, and don’t forget to shout (Here!).
Bingo, bingo, and let me hear your calls.
And don’t forget to tell the chairman to shake up his balls!

Oh every night I like playing bingo (bingo).
Twenty Benson Hedges and a beer (Way-hay-hayyy!).
It’s always lots of fun,
Sat there on your bum,
And if you win, stand up and shout (Here you are!).

There’s lots of money to be won on bingo (bingo).
When playing, all our faces look quite glum.
But when we win the line,
On number sixty-nine,
All the club can shout out (Yum yum yum!). Hey!

Bingo, bingo, get your dabbers out.
Bingo, bingo, and don’t forget to shout. (Here!)
Bingo, bingo, and let me hear your calls.
And don’t forget to tell the chairman to shake up his balls!

I like it when they call out Legs Eleven (whistles).
Doctor’s orders mark off number nine. (cough)
Me dabbers running out! (oh bloody ‘ell)
I’m just about to shout,
Sweating for one number on the line.

It’s getting very near to someone calling (pull it!).
And you can feel the tension rise a bit.
A woman shouts out, “Here!”
The caller shouts out, “Winner!”
And all the rest of us we shout, “OHH SHIT!” (way-hey!)

Bingo, bingo, get your dabbers out. Come on.
Bingo, bingo, and don’t forget to shout. (Here!)
Bingo, bingo, and let me hear your calls.
And don’t forget to tell the chairman to shake up his balls!

Top of the shop, that’ll be blind ninety (nine-oh).
Kelly’s plonker mark off number one (number one).
Now I don’t wanna dance,
I think I’ve weed me pants!
Bingo is the best it’s so much fun. (way-hay-hayy!)

Write your name on the back of the ticket (ticket).
You could win the sweeping up prize too (a quid).
I’ve had no luck tonight.
The caller has been shite!
Oh dear what am I gonna do? (I know!)

Bingo, bingo, get your dabbers out. Come on.
Bingo, bingo, and don’t forget to shout. (Here!)
Bingo, bingo, and let me hear your calls.
And don’t forget to tell the chairman to shake up his balls!

Oh, bingo, bingo, get your dabbers out. Come on.
Bingo, bingo, and don’t forget to shout. (Here!)
Bingo, bingo, and let me hear your calls.
And don’t forget to tell the chairman to shake up his balls!

Don’t forget to tell the chairman to… shake… up… his… balls…

I LOVE BINGO YEAH!
