Super Saturday has come and gone in the UK, and finally, after three months of shagginess, everyone has a decent haircut again! The UK is slowly easing out of lockdown, but matters in the slotting world have not eased at all with new slot titles being released all the time!
Some software studios – put your hands up Play’n GO, Red Tiger and Pragmatic Play – have been really proactive and released, basically, a slot a week over the past few months without any dip in quality! Many other software houses have released great games as well, of course!
Here is a round-up of some of the best games that have been released since our last update, two weeks ago.
Cash Volt (Red Tiger)
Cash Volt (not a typo) is an electrifying (literally) slot from Red Tiger. Many people may be put off by the classic feel of this slot, but it’s the perfect match of the ancient and the contemporary and will appeal to those who prefer games where you do not need to sit an entrance exam before you understand how to play them. This game has one main feature – you collect Cash Volt symbols and the more you collect, the bigger the pay out!
This game will appeal to slots players of a certain vintage, as the other symbols used in the game are classic ones from one-armed bandits. The RTP of this game should also appeal, estimated at 95.71%.
The Expendables New Mission Megaways (Stakelogic)
The Expendables original slot from Stakelogic was a forgettable game but now the ancient, creaky soldiers are back with a new mission, a new slot and the Megaways feature on licence from Big Time Gaming. This game has a military feel and the Megaways look, but not quite. It also features several of the stars from the movie franchise, including Sly Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham and Terry Crews. Sadly Arnold Schwarzenegger had said “I’ll be back … not!”.
You can join the Expendables crew on their brand-new mission, and get all fired up about the game’s estimated RTP of 96.02%.
Star Clusters Megaclusters (Big Time Gaming)
Speaking of Big Time Gaming, these software innovators have rocked the slotting industry with their Megaways concept, which we explored in our last round-up of the best slots titles to be released recently. These boys are now hopeful of doing for cluster pays slots what they have done for all ways pay slots. With Star Clusters Megaclusters you commence slotting proceedings with a 4×4 grid, but with each win any winning symbol turns into a 2×2 symbol, hopefully triggering more wins. The fun doesn’t stop there, though – smaller winning symbols disappear and cascade.
With this slot’s special feature thing get even crazier! During the bonus round winning 2×2 symbols start turning into 2×2 symbols themselves before they cascade. If good fortune smiles upon you then you could be looking at a 16×16 grid containing no less than 256 symbols!
One more bonus – this game has a pleasant RTP around 95.54% with medium-to-high volatility.
Cat Wilde & the Doom of Dead (Play’n GO)
The slotting world came in for a shock when it was announced that Play’n GO’s famous tomb digger Rich Wilde had a daughter. There came an even bigger shock when Cat Wilde was revealed to the world, and she looked only a little younger than the evergreen Rick himself!
Rick and Cat worked together in the Play’n GO release Rich Wilde & the Shield of Athena but Cat has now gone freelance and is venturing out into the slotting realm with her own adventure, Cat Wilde & the Doom of Dead, which is in possession of an estimated RTP of 96.29%.
Like the other two titles in this series, the gameplay here is not very complex at all and will appeal to those who find simpler slots appealing. Given the look of daddy and daughter here, we expect a forthcoming release ‘Rich Wilde & the Fountain of Youth’ any day now!
Lucky Neko Gigablox (Yggdrasil Gaming)
The great thing about Yggdrasil Gaming’s titles is the massive amounts of attention to detail that this software company puts into its games. Here we find Lucky Neko Gigablox featuring lucky cats, which is understandable as ‘neko’ is Japanese for cat. What’s also understandable is this game’s favourable RTP of 96.4%
The ‘gigablox’ here are giant blocks that act as large symbols, triggering symbol wins. The slotting action takes place in a Japan-themed shop and here is that attention-to-detail we waxed lyrical about – when the blocks land in place all the tiny items on the shelves jiggle about! This is a superb game to look at and one that’s worth an amount of your slotting time.
