Live Bingo Parties Offer a New Way to Enjoy Bingo

We’ve been looking at how bingo lovers in the UK are now enjoying bingo in less traditional forms. Find out how revelers have been dabbing their way across the dance floor and car parks in recent months, as well as which companies are hosting upcoming live bingo events.

Thanks to our “stiff upper lips”, we Brits aren’t going to let COVID-19 get in the way of getting together again. After all, the majority of us are ‘double-jabbed’ or are, at least, happy to undertake a lateral flow test to be able to attend large-scale events.

Since lockdown restrictions began to ease earlier this year, live events have been able to return, and we’ve seen everything from music festivals to international football matches welcoming fans from around the UK.

This also means that live bingo events have been able to restart, and if you’re looking for a new way to enjoy bingo games with friends and other players, they may be just what you’ve been looking for!

Bongo’s Bingo

Bongo’s Bingo has been running “the definitive bingo experience” in its hometown of Liverpool and other locations around the UK and the rest of the world for several years. It features an eclectic mix of traditional bingo games, rave intervals, dance-offs and audience participation, and you can play for crazy prizes too like giant inflatables or even boxes of cereal as well as some more decent prizes.

Bada Bingo

Bada Bingo is a new concept from Buzz Bingo and, therefore, the events are typically held at Buzz Bingo clubs. Each event includes bingo games and live performers. There are often epic prizes and celebrity special guests too!

Dabbers Social

Dabbers Social Bingo claims to have “reinvented the beautiful game” and it hosts private as well as public events. Its parties include amazing line-ups featuring musicians, performers and comedians. There are also huge prizes and delicious dining on offer while bingo games are played using a custom-built machine “that must be seen to be believed”.

London’s newly opened Hijingo takes live bingo to the next level. It caters for group bookings at an exclusive 8,000-square-foot venue in the Broadgate Quarter. Each game feels like a live show thanks to the professional lighting and production team’s efforts, and you can even treat yourself to some top Asian cuisine.

Drive-in Bingo

While drive-in bingo events gained popularity while bingo halls were temporarily closed due to COVID-19, you can still find some taking place such as Motorpoint At The Movies in Swansea. Tickets are usually sold through the Eventbrite website, and the events themselves are billed as “a great night out for all the family”.

A drive-in movie takes centre stage, but you can also take part in a game of drive-in bingo while waiting for the film to start.

LOL Bingo (coming soon)

This one may be less of a rave, but it will still offer an alternative to the regimented time schedules of traditional bingo halls. These venues will be smaller and have a mich cosier feel and there will be a constant flow of bingo games which you will be able to join at any time you wish to visit.

These are just a few of the options available, with more hitting the streets every couple of months.
