Mecca Bingo is currently running time-limited charity bingo games. All profits from this week’s Carers Charity specials will help to support those who need it most. So far this year, the brand and its members have managed to raise over £333k for Carers Trust!
Did you know that this week is Carers Week? It’s an annual campaign that aims to raise awareness of caring, as well as highlighting some of the challenges that unpaid carers have to face on a daily basis.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 6.5 million carers around the UK are continuing to face new and additional challenges, and Carers Trust is working alongside one of Britain’s most popular bingo brands in a bid to raise vital funds to help carers keep doing what they do best.
Bingo for Carers Week
Between Monday 7th and Sunday 13th June 2021 inclusive, you’re invited to play special Carers Charity bingo games every day at 12 PM, 5 PM and 7.30 PM in the Rollercoaster, Penny Lane and Main Event rooms at Mecca Bingo. There will also be hourly games on Sunday.
How do the games work?
Simply buy your tickets from the Mecca Bingo lobby and join in the fun. There are plenty of cash prizes up for grabs for the winners.
There’s also the chance to enter a special raffle draw where all proceeds go directly to Carers Trust. You can find out more about it by visiting the Raffles page.
How else is Mecca Bingo helping carers?
Mecca has been supporting Carers Trust for six years, during which time, it’s managed to raise £2.5m. Mecca employees have been getting involved in fundraisers which have included everything from head shaving, cycling relays and marathons to 24-hour karaoke, leg-waxing and bake-offs.
Members of Mecca Bingo have also helped to raise funds by playing charity games as part of the site’s regular daily bingo schedule. And, as this week is Carers Week, there are more Carers Charity bingo games than usual. So, why not take the opportunity to get involved and help a good cause?
