Red Rake games go live at 888Ladies

The popular online bingo brand, 888Ladies is welcoming a host of new games this autumn following an agreement with Red Rake Gaming.

Red Rake produces video bingo titles, as well as online slots, the latter of which include Mystic Lady, Nefertiti’s Riches and Fruits ‘n Jars.

Red Rake’s Managing Director, Nick Barr says that he’s “very confident that 888Ladies players will love what we have to offer”.

Bada Bingo is an exciting new concept in live bingo entertainment, and its creator (Buzz Bingo) held the inaugural Bada Bingo event on 7th July 2021.

Last weekend, the residents of Teesside were invited to Middlesbrough as part of Bada’s first national tour, and there was plenty to get excited about including all-night dancing, live performances, crazy bingo games and prizes and confetti cannons.

Cosmo Bingo in Stalybridge unveils state-of-the-art refurb

Cosmo Bingo in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester has been undertaking a massive refurbishment since lockdown restrictions were eased in May.

The club is now back open and returning players are likely to see a very different venue to the one they did before the pandemic.

The state-of-the-art venue now boasts an entrance hall with blue LED themed décor. Within, there are several TV screens that show everything from the latest club promotions to live sporting events. Players can also use the latest Bingo Bee tablets to play their favourite bingo games and order drinks from their tables. The Gaming Machine room has also received a makeover. Plus, there’s a new Smart Lounge where you can chill out, chat or enjoy the new licensed bar.

Broadway Gaming sets sights on compliance improvements

The company behind Glossy Bingo, Butlers Bingo, Dotty Bingo and Rosy Bingo has just appointed a new Head of Compliance.

Natalie Carter will be in charge of managing day-to-day operations while also helping ensure that the operator complies with UK and international regulatory standards.

Natalie says that Broadway Gaming’s ongoing missions are to set “the best industry standards” and “drive sustainable player growth”.

UKGC releases July gambling behaviours data

This week, the UK Gambling Commission released July 2021 data which shows what impact COVID-19 had on our gambling behaviour.

The information, which is taken from operator data, shows that the number of active players remained stable while there was a slight increase in the number of spins taken on slots and the number of online slot sessions lasting over an hour.

The Commission continues to expect operators to be extra vigilant and interact directly with customers if they feel that they are displaying abnormal behaviours.

Big names confirmed for ICE London 2022

ICE London is an annual event with aims to bring together gaming professionals and solutions providers from all over the world.

Next year’s event will run between 1st and 3rd February 2022, and it’s already been confirmed that some of the biggest names in the online gaming industry will be hosting exhibition stands.

So far, we know that bingo and casino operator Merkur will be in attendance, alongside major software developers like IGT, Microgaming, Elk Studios and Evolution Gaming.

Flutter will also be representing brands like Sky Bingo, Paddy Power and Betfair.

Evolution launches Fan Tan live casino game

The leading live casino and game show developer, Evolution Gaming has just unveiled its latest creation.

Fan Tan is based on an ancient Asian bed game and is broadcast from a live casino studio.

The dealer uses a metal cup to take a random number of beads from the glass dome in the middle of the table. The beads are then split up into lines of four until one line containing one, two, three or four beads remain. To win, players must predict how many beads will remain.
