NewzBitez – Local Newspaper Plays Eurovision Bingo

From time to time, newspapers issue themed bingo cards that let us enjoy watching special events such as the World Cup, the Oscars, and Wimbledon while dabbing off commentator phrases, names, and actions. This year, the EssexLive newspaper decided to invite its readers to combine bingo with the annual Eurovision Song Contest.

Essex is where the UK’s entrant, Sam Ryder is from, and while Sam was busy performing on the night, many of his fans chose to take advantage of the six free bingo cards that the newspaper posted online.  Some of the things that players needed to mark off to achieve a full house included a “song about peace”, “nil points”, “someone cries”, “obvious lip-synching”, “Ireland gives UK 12 points”, and “Graham Norton insults song”. We’re not sure if anyone managed to get a full house, but we’re sure that they had plenty of fun trying!
