A popular bingo hall in Swindon had to temporarily close at short notice last week after staff noticed a “strong smell of gas”. The Greenbridge Retail Park branch of Buzz Bingo took to social media to explain that the event was outside of its control and needed to wait for engineers to attend to perform safety checks and confirm that the building was safe for its employees and customers. Thankfully, the engineers were swift to resolve the club’s concerns and the venue was able to reopen its doors from 4 PM in time for the evening’s bingo session.
In June of this year, the same Buzz Bingo club celebrated one of its customers landing £50,000 on the National Bingo Game. At the time of his win, the player hoped to buy a new car and treat his partner to a luxury holiday.
