The Slingo collection has increased pretty rapidly over the past year, with new titles like Red Hot Slingo, Slingo Big Wheel, and Slingo Sweet Bonanza being rolled out to a variety of online casinos and bingo sites. The latest title is Slingo X-Scream (a play on words on the popular game Slingo Extreme) and today, we’re going to look at what it offers.
When was Slingo X-Scream released?
The game was released in late October 2021, just in time for Halloween.
Is it actually scary?
Well, it depends on what gives you the chills!
According to the game’s manufacturer, Slingo Originals, Slingo X-Scream aims to spook you in a fun way. It says “Ghouls just want to have fun! It’s that time of year when things go bump in the night, mysterious shadows lurk around corners, and nothing is quite as it seems. Are you brave enough to enter the gloomy graveyard of Slingo X-Scream?”
The game’s design
The background shows a cemetery by night, and you’ll see bats flying across the screen while you’re playing.
The numbers on the grid look like spectral plasma while the scatter symbols are represented by a ghoulish pumpkin and a black cat with glowing orange eyes. A skull with horns acts as the Devil symbol which can block symbols while Free Spin symbols award extra spins.
How does the game work?
Each game of Slingo X-Scream lasts for 11 spins, but you only pay per game and not per spin.
The aim is to match the numbers that appear on the horizontal reel at the bottom of the playing area with the numbers that land on the grid above it. Creating horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines can help to create Slingos and move up the paytable.
The Joker Lantern symbol lets you pick a number to mark off. You also have the option to purchase extra spins following each game if you wish to play on.
What’s the top prize?
The most that you can win while playing the game is a bewitching 500 times your stake.
