Bingo players in Sunderland are preparing for a night of “dancing, laughing and dabbing”. On 25th September 2021, Bingo Revolution will be heading to Buzz Bingo in Pallion for one of its first live events since early 2020.
The official home of Bingo Revolution – Sunderland’s Bonded Warehouse – was forced to permanently close after the COVID-19 pandemic took its toll on the business.
However, thanks to Buzz Bingo, Bingo Revolution will be able to host at least one more gig in the Tyne and Wear area.
Buzz Bingo’s Pallion club has previously welcomed the Bingo Revolution for a student night which attracted hundreds of people. The club, which can hold as many as 1,000 people has kindly offered to play host again for Bingo Revolution’s next live event on Saturday, 25th September 2021.
A brief history of Bingo Revolution
For the past two years, Bingo Revolution has held bi-monthly bingo nights at Sunderland’s Bonded Warehouse in Fish Quay. In a similar style to Bongo’s Bingo, Bingo Revolution live events offer an alternative bingo experience, with comedy, singalongs, twerk offs, pig throwing contests, dancing and quirky prizes like tins of baked beans, 6ft inflatable dinosaurs and kettles. Cash prizes are also included.
Can Buzz Bingo players join in the fun?
The last time that Bingo Revolution held a bingo night at Buzz Bingo Pallion, many of the club’s regulars were intrigued and decided to stick around to find out what the event was all about.
According to Bingo Revolution’s Stephen Hunt, they “absolutely loved it”.
As the September 25th session is a ticketed event, customers of the club will be able to secure entry along with other members of the public via the link on Bingo Revolution’s Facebook page. Tickets cost £10 each, plus £1 for a game of bingo.
Will Bingo Revolution be heading anywhere else?
Yes, the team has already confirmed a special night will be held at the Cairndale Hotel in Dumfries on Friday, 3rd September, and top comedian Cal Halbert will be taking on the role of bingo caller.
