The Big Raffle at Mecca Bingo: News

It’s always great to see some of the biggest bingo products bringing out a new product or feature, and Mecca Bingo has always been one of the greatest innovators in the industry.

Last week, the popular British bingo brand unveiled its latest creation – The Big Raffle – which invites players to take a shot at winning different prizes every single week.

Typically, you’d expect to have to pay to enter a raffle, but with Mecca’s Big Raffle, you can get your name in the draws free of charge by entering via post. However, if you’d prefer to grab your entries online, you have to pay a fee which, from what we can see, costs around 50p to £1 per entry.

The Big Raffle now has its own tab on the site’s main menu, and when you click on it, you can view details of all the weekly draws as well as previous winners and upcoming raffles.

In its first week, the new promotion gave players the chance to win free bingo for a whole year while other exciting raffle prizes included a home cinema bundle, £1,500 cash, an iPhone 12 and an Apple Watch.

Looking forward, there are plenty more prizes coming to the site over the coming weeks. For example, the draw on Friday, 30th April will see one lucky entrant scoop a weekend getaway for two in the beautiful Lake District which includes a hotel stay, return train tickets, a romantic dinner in a fancy restaurant, and a boat trip. There’s also the opportunity to win a Smeg coffee maker with 12 packs of Italian ground coffee worth £450.

With most draws, you can buy between 1 and 50 tickets, but there’s a limit to how many tickets can be sold. So, if you spot a prize that you’d like to win, get your entries in while you still can!

It will be interesting to see if this new concept sitting amongst the bingo games will appeal to the bingo playing public.
