"The World's Greatest Bingo Show" Coming Soon

The Worship Street-based venue is introducing a brand-new bingo concept which it’s promoting as “the World’s greatest bingo show”. The club boasts 8,000 square feet of space that, even withholding the current social distancing restrictions, can accommodate as many as 200 players.

If you live in or work near London, you’ll be excited to hear that Hijingo is finally opening.

Hijingo is situated on Worship Street, EC2 and it combines Asian cuisine with an immersive, multi-sensory bingo playing experience.

Sessions are more like live shows than traditional land-based bingo games, with production and lighting being overseen by professionals that have previously worked with some of the biggest stars in the music scene, including Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

More about the venue

The venue is decorated to look like a large bar in Tokyo with black and red wall panels, sleek wooden tables, 3D cinema speakers, live dancers, sonic effects, and mirrored LED screens that display cinematic videos.

Hijingo will also offer visitors “out-of-this-world food and drink” including cocktails with an Asian twist and street food dishes like dirty rice and bao buns. A branded gin called Hin-Gin-Go will also feature on the menu along with craft beers and slushies.

How will the bingo games work?

Each player will receive a bingo card before the numbers are called out, and every game will offer three exciting prizes. Single games cost from £11 and full sessions cost £16. However, the venue will be temporarily running an opening offer that includes a drink and two games for £20.

What prizes can be won?

Some of the prizes that will be offered to the lucky winners include an Amazon Echo dot, £150 cash and a UK/European getaway for two.

Who is behind Hijingo?

The team behind London’s upcoming Hijingo is State of Play Hospitality who previously created Puttshack, Flight Club and Bounce, and their mission is to “propel thrill-seekers into the future of bingo”.

James Gordon is one of the company’s co-founders, and he describes the Hijingo experience as “fast and immersive”.

The venue is situated approximately 5 minutes from Liverpool Street Station at 40 Worship Street.
