Tombola has been busy introducing additional safe play tools that are designed to ensure that players stay in control of their gambling. Recently, it announced that it’s brought in site-wide weekly and monthly net deposit limits that work alongside each player’s personal weekly deposit limit.
As it will soon be Mental Health Awareness Week, the brand has published a supporting video on its Facebook page. It features one of the site’s chat moderators, Mikado, who has come up with some top tips for keeping happy and healthy online.
Mikado is one of several Safeplay Champions and they’re available 24/7 in the bingo rooms.
This week, the Safeplay Champs have been reminding players of the importance of listening to your body and mind, reach out if you need some additional support, and know when you need to take some time away from the site.
CM Mikado says “We’ve all been there at some point; spent more than we’re happy to spend, spent a little bit more time doing something than we should have, or feeling frustrated when things don’t go our way. Taking a break can really help us to reflect on a situation, like going for a walk, spending 30 minutes pottering in the garden, doing something you enjoy such as arts, crafts, reading or even taking a bath”.
Mental Health Awareness Week takes place between 10th and 16th May 2021, and this year, the theme is “Nature”. On the official website, you can find some top tips for connecting with nature, as well as other ways to get involved with the project like raising funds for the Mental Health Foundation while enjoying the great outdoors.
The Safeplay section of the Tombola website explains more about the brand’s responsible gambling tools that you can use to make your playing experience safer and more enjoyable. You’re also invited to chat with the support team or with one of the brand’s Safeplay Champions if you have any questions or concerns.
