Jo Abergel has been active in the gambling industry for the past decade, primarily delivering leadership training to management teams and serving as Head of HR for a Gibraltar-based operator. In 2021, she co-founded the Ethical Gambling Forum, an initiative designed to challenge the industry on key ethical issues. The forum brings together a diverse range of stakeholders — including regulators, operators, safer gambling teams, risk and compliance professionals, researchers, therapists, individuals with lived experience, and charities — to share insights, address challenges, and drive progress toward better practices and meaningful cultural change.
