Special Features
There are three special features in the Heart of Rio slot game including a wild symbol, a money collect feature and a free spins bonus round.
Watch out for the red and gold carnival queen as she is the wild symbol and will replace other symbols on the reels to help form new winning combinations and create big cash prizes.
Next, we have the money collect feature. The purple glitter ball acts as the money symbol and will land on your first, second, third and fourth reels. If glitter balls with a monetary value attached land at the same time as the heart symbol on the fifth reel, you can win this cash. There are different heart symbols that can land on the fifth reel to award various prizes:
- Collect – the money values are added together
- Extra credit – the money values are added together plus an extra credit
- Multiplier collect – all money values are multiplied
- Expanding collect – a reel with a money symbol can expand to cover the reel in random money values
- Respins collect – the money value symbols become sticky and players are awarded a respin
The bonus scatter symbol is the drums and landing three or more on the second, third and fourth reels will trigger the free spins bonus round. Players are awarded eight free spins and there is the chance to collect money value symbols as you play this round. During this round, the money symbols will be collected in a pot and at the end of the round you’ll get one last respin. On this respin, the total of your pot is added up and turned into a colossal symbol to be played on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Use the respin and if you get a collect heart symbol on the fifth reel, you’ll win the bonus pot amount. There is an unlimited number of free spins up for grabs as landing three scatters will award a further eight free spins.
- Wins of up to 10,500x your stake
- Money collect feature with multiplier and respin hearts
- Free spins that can be retriggered for more spins
- Carnival-themed slots are not hard to find
- Money collect wins need a heart symbol on the fifth reel
