Special Features
There are three special features in the Dragon Hero slot game including a wild symbol, super wilds and a free spins feature.
The wild symbol is the yin yang symbol and it can replace other symbols on the reels to help form new winning combinations and potentially award larger winning combinations.
The second wild symbol is the gold super wild and this can also replace other symbols on the reels to help form new winning combinations and potentially award more wins. This symbol can only land on the second, third and fourth reels. When it appears on the reels, it can hold up to three yin yang wild symbols in place. After the spin ends, the standard wild symbols will then be placed randomly around the reels.
The gold scatter symbol will trigger the free spins round when three or more land on the reels. The more scatters you land, the more bonus wheels you will be awarded:
- 3 scatters – 6 bonus wheels
- 4 scatters – 8 bonus wheels
- 5 scatters – 10 bonus wheels
You can spin the bonus wheels to be awarded up to three spins on each. As you play the feature, super wilds can land on the reels and will become sticky. After each spin, these super wilds can move the standard wilds randomly around the reels. The scatter symbol also plays an important role as each time it lands on the reels, half of a wild symbol will be added to a random super wild currently on the reels. When a full wild is created, that super wild will add an additional wild symbol to the reels.
Graphics and Sounds
Dragon Hero is a Far East themed slot game and you will see traditional Asian buildings behind the reels as well as lots of cherry blossoms. On the reels, the low value symbols are your standard playing card symbols, while the high value symbols all relate to the theme. This includes scrolls, gold fish, gold frogs, gold coins, yin yang symbols and more. A relaxing harp song plays in the background as you spin, adding to the calming atmosphere of this slot game.
Conclusion
Dragon Hero is a nice slot game from Pragmatic Play. The graphics look great but some players may find the theme a little overdone as there is no shortage of Far East themed online slots to choose from. The highlights of this slot game include the super wilds and the free spins feature where you can potentially win up to 5,000x your stake. If you enjoy Asian themed slot games, this is sure to be a top choice for you.
