Professional Background
During my 15 year career I have seen the inner workings of the gambling industry, spun thousands of slot reels, and worked on games played by thousands of people.
I understand the gambling industry thanks to six years of hands-on experience at one of the world’s largest betting companies, Betway.
During my time there I spun slots, tested new bingo games, and wrote hundreds of casino and table game pieces, including leaderboards, cashback, and prize draw promotions played by thousands of people in more than 50 countries across the globe.
So, when I talk about gambling, it’s based on real practical experience of how casinos and gambling companies truly operate.
I’ve seen all sides of the industry, working with Compliance and Responsible Gambling teams to ensure both player safety and regulatory compliance, as well as working closely with Customer Experience teams to survey players and understand the features that matter the most.
Coming from a strong background in news journalism, I have been extremely privileged to have interviewed people from all walks of life and shared their inspiring stories.
I have interviewed Prime Ministers and MPs and held them to account, and I have interviewed and championed the vulnerable.

Why I Love Bingo

Whether it’s at work or outside of it, I love challenges and problem solving.
