The Blocks bingo game gives you a choice of four rooms to play in and each one costs a different amount. However, all games use the same format although the available prizes are linked to the size of your chosen stake and the number of players.

Each ticket contains 36 numbers which are represented by 6 different colours, and you can win prizes by removing all blocks of one colour, such as pink, or by scoring the highest number of points by the end of the game.

There are also two fixed jackpots available to players who complete the full house in 8 or 10 calls or less.

Linked games are available too, which means that the prizes are merged along with the chat.

How to Play

When you click on the Blocks tab, you’re presented with a choice of three themed rooms called Island, Mountain, and Ocean, all of which are open 24/7.

Once you’ve chosen a room, you get to pick a stake size from a choice of 10p, 25p, 50p, £1 or £2. Everyone has a fair chance of winning, regardless of their stake, but the higher the stake, the bigger the prizes become.

Click on your preferred stake to buy-in to the game then wait for the countdown timer to reach zero.

When a new game loads, the playing area is filled with 36 coloured, numbered blocks, and as each number is announced, the corresponding blocks are cleared from view. You also earn points when blocks of the same colour touch for the first time. For example, 3 touching blocks gets you 30 points while 2 touching blocks gets you 20 points.

If you manage to clear all blocks of a single colour such as green before anyone else, you win the Blocks Prize. If you have the highest score of all players by the end of the game, you win the Score Prize.

Jackpot

Blocks offers players two fixed jackpots, both of which are extraordinarily generous!

If you win the Blocks Prize within 8 calls or less, you receive a massive 10,000 times your stake, and if you win the Blocks Prize within 9 or 10 calls, you get an impressive 1,000 times your stake. So, if you were playing with the smallest stake of 10p, the biggest jackpot would be worth ÂŁ1,000 and if you wagered the maximum of ÂŁ2, it would be worth ÂŁ20,000!

Graphics and Sounds

In Blocks rooms, the playing area is on the left-hand side while the chat window is on the right-hand side.

The background correlates to the theme of your chosen room. So, if you pick Island, you’re treated to the sight of a tropical beach at sunset.

Blocks uses an automated caller to announce the numbers, and if a number corresponds to one of the blocks on your ticket, it disappears from the grid.

At the bottom of the screen, you can see how much the Score Prize is worth and your current score is displayed just to the right of it.

When the full house is won, a pop-up message appears in the centre of the player area with the winner’s name on it. Could it be you?

Conclusion

With games costing as little as 10p and jackpots paying up to £20,000, Blocks is an online bingo format that’s both affordable and potentially highly rewarding.

It’s also compatible with mobile devices so you can enjoy it wherever you go. Plus, it’s a fast-paced, lively game that supports chat (if you have time to chat!) with no cap on how many players can enter the rooms.
